Warm-Up & Vocal Flexing: Gabi leads us today!
Improvisation Work:
1) 3 Lines in My Pocket...
- On the previous class, the student actors wrote possible lines on a scrap of paper (they are now in the tray on my desk)
- Today, student actors will go to the front of the room and select 3 lines from the tray (without looking/reading them) & place the lines in their pocket
- Scene is begun with the 2 actors when the audience gives them a PLACE & RELATIONSHIP for the improvised scene
- Actors begin with the scene and pull out/say their "pocket lines" at anytime they want---however, not one after the other
Activity/Skill Work: Skill Focus on "cold" oral reading with style and intention
