Today's Agenda:
Warm-Up & Vocal Flexing:
If there is time OR next time--2) The Dating Game
Four actors are needed for this game. Three actors will be given roles to portray as they answer the fourth actors "dating" questions. The fourth actor will be given a list of typical interview questions but in this interview, he/she is trying to figure out who the other 3 actors are portraying. Once the fourth actor thinks he/she knows. it can be said aloud to check.
THE NAME MONOLOGUES: a choice for one published or an original to perform EITHER YOU WILL:
Improvisation Work:
1)First Line/Last Line
Each of you will write 5 lines on strips of scratch paper. Lines can be ANYTHING! For example, What's that on your nose? or Why did you say that to me? or Because I want to, that's why. or I smell spaghetti. Mrs. Hancock will collect these from the class and place them into a container.
Next, two actors will take the stage and each choose a line--one actor will use his/her to start the scene and the other actor will use his/her line to end the scene. The goal is to have 10+ exchanges before working to the ending line!
