Improvisation Work:
1)Scenes from Images--
3 minutes to create, then you will perform, and show the image (muse) to your audience
2) Sit, Stand, Lean
Audience gives characters, setting, and situation for 3 actors to explore, BUT one must be standing, one leaning, and one sitting at all times and these positions MUST change. Actors will need to "set up" each other/help build by saying lines that allow others to move and change position.
Personal Experience Speeches

1. Post your speech to your Blogfolio, title it, & label it
2. In your mind, reflect on how the speech went today
3. Write a blog post in which you:
a) Describe the task and challenge your were given
b) Describe how you felt before, during and afterwards
c) Share some of the feedback given by your classmates when the speech was finished
d) Describe your areas of strength as a speaker in public
e) Describe your areas of weakness as a speaker

- When Blogfolio post is done. Show Mrs. Hancock and come choose your Name Monologue
- Type the character questions by next class
- Begin to memorize the character monologue, using the questions to guide the creation of a character voice and body language as you memorize---DO NOT READ IT IN YOUR VOICE, PLEASE
- Friday you will practice and you will select a location for you monologue
ASSESSMENT & TIMELINE
Monologues are due for memorization test & peer feedback on Tuesday
Monologues will be performed for assessment on Thursday--that means memorized, in special location & with body movement
